What is the ZTL and why is it a problem in Palermo?
The ZTL is the Limited Traffic Zone: a part of Palermo's historic centre where driving is banned or restricted at certain hours, with fines for non-compliance. Staying outside the ZTL means you can drive in and park freely, without that risk.
What's the minimum length of stay?
There is no fixed minimum. We manage short, weekly and monthly stays. For work stays longer than 30 days, a registered transitory lease filed with the Italian Revenue Agency is available.
Can I get a company invoice or a transitory contract?
Yes. For work stays and company assignments we issue a properly registered transitory lease, valid for expense reimbursement and administrative paperwork.
How does check-in work?
Casa al Borgo has 24/7 self check-in with a keypad. Indipendenza Guest House offers self check-in from 2pm. For specific timing needs, contact us directly.
Are the apartments suitable for large groups?
Yes. Indipendenza Guest House hosts up to 6 people across 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms — a more convenient and cost-effective option than booking 2–3 separate hotel rooms for the same group.
Do monthly stays include utilities?
For Casa al Borgo, the monthly rate includes water, electricity and final cleaning. For Indipendenza Guest House, the rate includes final cleaning. Contact us for the specific details of the stay you have in mind.
